missing piece
This item was never actually received and despite photos and “chat” they won’t refund the money. Fedex apparently either lost or stole my item and Home Depot will not make it right

Powerful 20V Blower
Upgraded from the previous 90m mph blower the wife now keeps on our back porch. I use the new one for the lawn and drying the cara after a wash. Like the extra power without having to go out of the 20V battery system. Thanks to HD military discount.program. Saves some $$.

Get Larger Batter than Dewalt = Golden
I have only DeWalt battery tools, so I like their products. The blower does a great job. Light, good airspeed and at first good battery life. After just 7 months the battery won’t hold a charge with no use, and runs out after little more than 10 minutes of use. I have old 18-volt batteries that still work. My original battery was poor, got a larger one from china, its perfect now. It's perfect for blowing fresh snow as well!

Great Deal
Would highly recommend. Bought this with the free tool deal and got the 1/2 inch compact impact. Works amazingly. Batteries charge fast and impact has plenty of power and last a long time.

I tested the DeWalt against 4 other 18v cordless blowers...
I tested the DeWalt against 4 other 18v cordless blowers (DeWalt vs Milwaukee, Makita, Ryobi, and Ridgid). While the DeWalt had some nice features like a variable lock throttle, it just was OK against the others. It was a bit weak on power and louder than the others. But it handles well and feels comfortable. Overall I give it a "C" grade. Take a look at the youtube video ( https://youtu.be/x2miKdpovUQ ) comparing all of them.

Blower DCBL 7220 -STOP- don’t buy it
There are plenty reviews and comments about the worthless DeWalt battery packs; so much so that they have to give special warranties because of their failures. I never expected failures from their brushless blower. I paid premium to get what I thought would be the best. It totally failed after 1 1/2 years. It is covered under warranty but they refuse to honor the warranty if you fail to register the product. I didn’t register it because I didn’t expect a problem. It is their product with their serial number and labeling. What a lame excuse to escape their responsibility. NO MORE DeWalt products for me.

Not same product as pictured
Purchased this and added the 5in orbital to my yellow and black kit. Claims to be an XR battery kit but the 4ah battery shows no XR labeling or looks the same as pictured. Overall it's a good deal with the tool.
