Product Details

Squeeze into tight spaces to singlehandedly complete tasks with this shallow-profile compact grinder from DEWALT. When 2 hands are better, grip the (removable) side handle to apply more pressure and stability. A simple on/off switch engages the 7 Amp motor on this small-angle grinder, delivering a robust 12,000 RPM. Attach, rotate and secure the One-Touch guard into one of several positions without any tools. Easily affix or remove 4-1/2 in. discs onto the flange with included wrench.

    Q:Can I use the AvantiPro quick strip disc that's rated at 1100 RPM on this angle grinder that's rated at 1200 RPM? This is a 4-1/2 inch disc with threads. My concern is that it would melt or degrade at the higher RPM? It can strip paint off of a deck.

            The allen wrench
            Saw a lot of comments about allen wrench and spanner wrench….search YouTube for “DEWALT DWE4011 Small Angle Grinder”. Video Shows how Dewalt thinks it should work. (Can’t post url)

              I am a first time DIYer and used this to cut the larger circular holes in the tile for the shower...
              I am a first time DIYer and used this to cut the larger circular holes in the tile for the shower valve and for the toilet. This was very easy to use and I got compliments from my guy friends/DIY coaches at how nice my cuts turned out. It's so nice having the proper tools for the job.

              Spanner wrench revisited
              So I read the review about the spanner wrench not being included and the one where other posters explained how it is not needed. I admit, I though it was silly to complain about at first but upon some use of my grinder which I am very pleased with I do see the downfall for first time buyers. If you also use this as a sander most sanding back up pads and retaining nut DO NOT have the hex head hole and even if they did they are much thinner so as not to be in the way. Fortunately for me I have a wrench from a previous grinder but if someone does not have one and want to use a generic / aftermarket sanding disc setup they will want to purchase the wrench

                        Was able to use a small generator and this grinder to to all kinds of metal work. Very eary

                          Switch sticks
                          I’m not sure if I got a defective unit, but the lock on the switch would engage, but once it unlocked it still wouldn’t let me turn off the grinder. I would have to unplug it to get it to stop, then I could get the switch to work. Other than the switch it was a nice little grinder, but it’s going back because of the faulty switch/lock.
