Does this run on Natural Gas
The XP10000HX only runs on gasoline or propane, not natural gas. I would recommend the XP13000HXT if you are interested in using natural gas.

I don’t notice any distortion; I operate 30A/240v for dryer no issues along with running my camping trailer for a week with no noticeable voltage or amp drop …. The unit is excellent with no operation issues

Since I don't use the generator very often, I use a NOCO Genius 1 amp battery tender to keep the battery in peak condition.
Yes, this generator will automatically recharge the battery while the generator is running. Please note that if the generator is in storage for 3 months or longer, then we recommend putting the battery on a trickle charger to keep the battery maintained.
Battery died while it was running? If the battery died and it was not running, you need to have it on a charger all the time they make special charges for this. Call Duramax it may be under warranty.
