        New Design is a FAIL listen to the other reviews
        I've been using these screws for nearly a decade and the latest design CRAP! After the first screw snapped off at the head (never ever had this happen with the old design) I turned my torque setting lower than normal. Still, one after the other snapped off. I've probably driven a 1000 of the old design but it looks like Home Depot allowed for inferior materials and less of them. If you set an "old yellow" screw next to the "new tan" you can see the new design is thinner and more brittle.

          Good Wood Screws
          I used these for building a wood fence, which may not have been what these screws were intended for, but they worked great. I expect they will hold better than the nails did on the previous fence. These screws self tapped and screwed in easily and i especially liked the torx bit screw head over the usual Phillips head found on wood screws.

          New Design Unsatisfactory
          I use (now used) these screws a lot! I own a construction company, and these have been my go to screws for years. Well, this is no longer the case. I ran out last evening of this particular size, and ran to Home Depot first thing this morning to grab more. I noticed that it said new design, but thought nothing of it. Big Mistake! I am attaching a photo of the old design and the new. Old is on the left and new is on the right. I just used all 5 pounds of the box, and created more work from using these than i had to begin with.
