The new design features a 70 mm rose plate, providing easy coverage of previous paint marks in replacement applications. The design provides easy installation with only a Phillips screwdriver. The finish gives a clean look with a modern feel to your home. This lever is most effective for exterior doors where keyed entry and security is needed. Defiant keyed locks can be re-keyed to fit your existing KW1 keyway.

Q:Can I get a 4 pack all keyed the same

A:  Hi Rick, If you pick these items up at your local Home Depot and you locate the "Keyed Alike" sticker, make sure to match both numbers on that sticker. This will ensure you get 2 sets with the same key. If you're unable to get a matching pair, you will have to ask the store to rekey the sets to match. Thank you for your question.

    A:  Hi Chris, No. This combo pack comes with a Single Cylinder Deadbolt which means that it uses a thumb turn on the interior portion of the door. If you need a deadbolt that uses a key on the inside, you would need to get a combo pack with a double cylinder deadbolt. Thank you for your question.

      A:  Hi Steve, There isn't an option to order multiple units to share the same key on HomeDepot.com. If you purchase 2 or 3 lock sets, they may come keyed alike. If they do not, we would suggest contacting your local Home Depot and speak with the associate that handles the rekeying for the store. That associate should be able to assist you to set multiple lock sets to the same key. Thank you for your question.

          A:  Hi Dulcid, This project pack will fit any door width. The required measurements for the door must be between 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick with a front and back bore hole diameter of 2-1/8". Thank you for your question.

            Good hardware, poor threads
            The knobs and dead bolts themselves are nice, but the screws the knobs were sent with didn't match the knobs' internal threads. Could barely hand tighten them, attempted using a screw driver but the heads were so soft that they stripped almost immediately. Ended up having to drill the knob apart to get it off and put my old one back on the door.

              Love This Set
              It was time to change the locks, I saw this on sale at Home Depot, and I knew what to do. It's all you need to get going for two entry doors, includes 4 keys, and all of it is easy to adjust based on your situation. In minutes you have new locks. The turning of the knobs and locks are smooth and sturdy. The matte black style looks really cool. Overall this is a perfect product and I definitely recommend it.

              Good replacement and decent quality
              I was replacing an existing lock so all holes were already drilled. This kit came with all hardware and instructions. Took me les than 15 minutes to replace. Would buy again for the quality and price.

                Finish wearing off
                Installed these locks only nine months ago and finish already wearing off. They were easy to install, function well but look horrible!

                  I am appalled by the poor quality of this product. I installed this knob and deadbolt on my front door two years ago after buying a new house. Thank goodness I didn't replace the knob on the side door (which is why I bought the two knob set), because otherwise I would have been regularly locked out of my house. After two years, this is what both the knob and the deadbolt look like, and the key does not go into either the deadbolt or the doorknob because the first pins are permanently frozen down. Meanwhile, the cheap knob and the deadbolt on the side door that I didn't replace are just fine. I live in a mild climate where it doesn't freeze; only the very poorest quality product would deteriorate like this. Luckily I kept the packaging, and am going to try to get my money back from Home Depot based on the "lifetime guarantee". Save yourself the trouble!
