Q:When turning volume control clockwise from the starting position, the water reaches maximum volume, and then the volume decreases again if you keep turning, then it shuts off. Was this installed correctly?

A: Hi Daniel, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T17097-RB. To remove the temperature control knob cover, unsnap the clip on the rear of the cover and then unhook the tab on the front. Q:The volume handle has to be held still to adjust the temp. handle. Two hands are required. Is this the way it way designed to operate?

A: Yes, that is correct. The reason is so you don't have to set the temperature each time. The temperature handle will remain where you set it when you turn the handle to the on position.

A: No. We have two of these and neither requires the use of two hands. The temperature handle moves without having to hold the volume handle still. Maybe it needs a little silicone grease to allow the temperature handle to move freely? You might want to call Delta for assistance.

Love the separate volume and temp control. VERY easy to install. Find the video online at Delta or YouTube. If you have just a shower, be sure to get the Delta valve that ends in HF for High Flow. (my experienced plumber wasn't aware of this).
