Willie, Thank you for your question. One end of this grab bar must be installed into a stud, while the other end may be installed with the anchor provided. Best, Customer Care Team
Call a plumber or anyone who works with tile.
Yes. I use the grab bar as towel bar. I have installed tissue roll holder in the same style. It is also very strong.
Yes, look it up in the Home Depot Website.
Cha, Thank you for your question. Confused, Thank you for your question. This grab bar is a stainless steel finish. Best, Customer Care Team
Yes so far rust resistant. The chrome cleans easily with water, but if wet it could be slippery. Therefore, it depends upon the angle It’s placed on the wall. If vertical and in a shower it may be more slippery. When placed horizontally I have not experienced any slipperiness. If placed in a non wet area I find no slipperiness with the product at all.
Don't know about the 42 in but know it comes in 36. I bought 4 different sizes, 12, 18, 24, and 36. Returned the 36 and had the other 3 installed in my new shower. I had to order all online, they weren't carried in the store
