Is the backsplash molded on or does it have to be attached?

The backsplash on the back is integrated into the countertop. However, there is no wall return backsplash if you are installing this in a corner configuration. Still a very nice top and easy installation

Can it be cut to size 60" and can I request the single sink to be position on the right hand side?

Can this 61 inch countertop be trimmed down to fit a 54" wide existing vanity already in place?

It can. There are a couple of things you need to keep in mind. First, will the 7" that you are cutting impact where the plumbing will line up with the sink. Second, make sure the edge that you cut will be in the corner or it will need to be polished

The photo looks like this is a left side sink. Not centered. Do you make it that way?

The side piece looks terrible with the countertop as it is all white and doesn't look good at all. not sure why they say to buy together. Also, the countertop we received has backsplash of 2.25 inches even though it's supposed to be four inches and can't get any resolution from Home Depot as to what to do.

Can I trim the ends to fit 60" wide or less? Recommended tool?

Asked by sweetchuck January 27, 2018

Answer

No. Edges are formed and turned slightly upward. If you were to cut them there would be an unfinished edge.

Is it 8" faucet or 4" faucet spread?

It is 4" from the surface of the vanity top.

I remodeled my bathroom and wanted a countertop that I could handle installing myself (I am a female) I chose this one because it was not only 60 lbs (and yes it was still a struggle but managed) but I liked the cleanness of it as I don't like the marble or granite look at all. I am thrilled with it! It looks amazing and I bought the side splash as well. It took a bit of caulking to get it to look really good, but it does now. I repainted my cabinet a dark slate grey color and I think everything looks stunning. I have to be careful of scratching though. The new soap dish I noticed is putting some scratches on the counter so I put those felt circles on the bottom of the soap dish so that should be no problem from now on.

Sink drain would not seal due to rough casting around the drain hole. After trying different gaskets, I had to use sealant on the original gasket to get it to seal. The quality of the drain sealing area leaves a lot to be desired.Sam
