Cause the store was out of stock. Go look for yourself or try another store
Love the board itself but it did come in a little damaged.
It is made of wood.
The chalk surface is a laminate that is wipeable to allow for easy clean-up.
Hello Marimann, It all depends on how you intend to attach the board to the wall. Framing the boards will give you the best results structurally and aesthetically. The board will naturally want to bend do to being so thin. If you choose not to frame them but support the board at all for corners it will not be an issue. I hope this helps. Cheers, Chris
It's made from MDF ( medium density fiberboard ). If you hang it , you should be fine. If you set it down on it's own weight , it will bend. I would suggest a frame only because the edges are raw , but can be painted or even a black marker would work
No, any type of paint can be used to paint a permanent grid or calendar on the chalkboard.
There is no physical difference between the two chalk boards. The more expensive chalk board is a buy online, deliver to your home item. The less expensive chalk board is a buy online, pick up in store item.
You can cut this chalk board with a circular saw with a carbide-tipped blade.
Very easy to cut. If your NOT going to frame it , I would suggest a fine tooth blade at a slow speed
It would be nice if it was carried in our store, I had to special order, but it came to my house, so I'm happy with it.
