Depends on what you get
Ordered Farmhouse 60" in Dark Chocolate and stain job was horrible! Blotchy and wood repairs visible, front looked more like "aged oak," but top was dark. I noticed a competitor sold the same product, same price, except the title included "alder" wood, instead of poplar, so ordered one to compare. The alder one is chocolate brown, much better build construction, and the stain is more consistent. I can't believe these are the same product.

Great Mantle
Not only did it fit, but so easy to install! Because of a fireplace brick wall I used lag bolts instead of the drywall screws to mount my mantle.

Great product and price!

Color is actually more brown, less gray
I knocked off a star because the photo makes this appear to be more of a gray color. However, in actuality it is a darker, gray-washed brown. Other than that, the mantel is sturdy, with clean lines and looks great when installed. Very pleased.

Easy to install!
Easy to install and easy to cut! Had to cut the mantel for the wired because my walls you cant run the wires for the tv through. I am not very handy and I figured it out :)

Great looking mantle
Hung on existing concrete wall. Replaced existing hanger board with 2 x 4 x 58 1/8" board. also replaced the 3 packaged long screws with Tapcon screws and used a Tapcon masonry bit. Worked great. I hung it by myself with no major hurdles.

Very sturdy muscling mantel. Screws came but had to buy masonry screws and drill bit. I hung it onto a brick fireplace by myself ( woman). Color is even and it has minimum knots and crack ( nice clean looking which I wanted- not too rustic). My only complain is wish it's 8" not 10" deep ( way too deep).
