Product Details

The Dremel 200 Series Rotary Tool offers the precision and control required to complete a wide range of projects. Two speed control allows you to set your speed at 15,000 or 35,000 RPM with a flip of a switch. The click-and-set on/off switch allows for precise speed selection. Use the low-speed setting for cleaning applications and using brush accessories and the high-speed setting for routing, cutting and sanding applications. The kit comes with 1 Multipurpose Cutting Guide attachment and 21 Dremel rotary accessories for sanding, cutting, grinding, and polishing applications.

Q:I just purchased this tool and never used a Dremel before. My first job for it was to use the multipurpose cutting bit to cut a hole in the drywall ceiling to install a junction box. I can't seem to get it to cut effectively. I'm struggling. Any tips?

Q:can it cut thru granite tiles that are 1.75inch thick?

Tiny and tough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this last week to cut down my fence which is a vinyl prefabricated that needs to be shortened. The cutting tools not only help me shortening the post but actually assisted with my homemade template to make the holes for the Post. This is a fantastic tool I love it..

Very versatile Tool

This is an extremely versatile rotary tool. It can cut, sand, grind, polish, carve as well as drill and engrave with the appropriate bits or accessories. I am new to using this tool so I started out by using the cut off wheel (included) to carve my initial in wood. (See pics attached) You can also use it on metal, but I wanted to get a feel for the attachment and the tool. It has a lot of power and cut into the wood like butter. It also is very quiet when running. I felt like I had good control because it isn't very heavy, it feels well balanced and is comfortable to hold. It is a very well-made, high quality rotary tool. It comes with an Operating/Safety Instruction Booklet, a cutting guide attachment and numerous bits and accessories which are in a small case. This 200 Series is a 2 speed model with just a low speed (15,000 rpm) and high speed (35,000 rpm). For now it works for what I need it for, but I may invest in a variable speed model in the future for more individualized project control. This 200 Series model can be used with all Dremel accessories EXCEPT MS400 or MS400 attacments. My only disappointment in this product is that there is not a case for the Dremel tool for storage. Cardboard boxes get beat up after awhile.

Wonderful Experience Always!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been carving intricate undersea, bird and tree pictures with a 2 speed dremel's for many years. Always had a great experience. Once you start creating, you have a ton of fun trying all the carving bits and finding new pictures you want to create. I became good enough to show my work at fairs. This tool in sturdy and never disappoints. Carve On!
