I have waited for the weather to turn cooler, before rating this stove. I have the stove located in my basement, and let the heat rise up the stairs to the main part of the house. I am heating almost 3000 sq. ft. upstairs and down. With temperatures in the low to mid twenties, the stove has done an excellent job, and is using about 1/3 less wood than my old stove. I would have given a 5 star rating, but the fire box could be designed better. When you open the door, it lets ashes and coals fall out onto the lip. The fire box is also relatively small. Wood needs to be cut about 16" to easily fit. My old stove would handle a 30" stick of wood. Overall I am very satisfied with the product.
