Best Father's Day Gift
Got this smoker for my dad for Father's Day to replace & upgrade his super old Weber smoker (it had definitely been through some things, but held up well). He seems to be very excited about his new smoker & immediately got the meats and his smoke chips and all that together for some weekend BBQing. Definitely won some more "favorite kid" points in my favor. :o) I anticipate a brisket in my future.

The grill was easy to put together, I order the first one they forgot to put my screws in the order. I went to Home Depot to reorder me another. They sent it I put it together just fine. I love the smoker it is just great.

This smoker did what it was supposed to besides some smoke escaping fro the door but, it isn't as large as the website stated. They showed in the dimensions the width, depth and height with a picture of an outlined box beside it. What they failed to describe is that they added the handles, lock and the stack to those dimensions so the actual smoker box size is 16" by 14". A lot smaller than what was stated. I'm extremely disappointed with the size! Smoke also billows from the door no matter how tight you adjust the clamps. It needs some type of seal added to keep the smoke in. I kept it because I don't want to deal with the hassle of returning it. I'll make sure I'll do more research on any items online before I make a purchase. Home Depot, would you please state the entire dimensions of this and all items to include handles, latches and any other things attached? Thank you.

This is a good smoker for the $$, but the only issue with this model is the exhaust vent, before you assemble it to the smoker just take a look at it when the vent is closed all the way. The gaps in the exhaust vent are a issue, all the way closed is like 1/4 to 1/3 open. Also there is no water pan, only a wood chip smoker box that rests above the fire. If that exhaust truly closed all the way this smoker would be 5 stars all day long.
