The SUITCASE TRIFOLD AS Ramp has a unique 3-fold design that allows for ultimate portability when longer ramp lengths are needed. The ramp is designed to be used and carried as one unit, or can quickly be separated into two individual sections. Offered in lengths ranging from 5' to 10' and is ideal for raised landings, steps, or larger vehicles. A:  Hello Teresa, This ramp is great, but for the rise you mention we suggest looking at our GATEWAY 3G ramps or even the PATHWAY modular ramp solo kits as they are designed for both wheel and foot traffic.       A:  Hello Rene, Unfortunately no installation service is offered, but this ramp is simple to set up. As others have mentioned, you'll have hardware to secure the top lip to whatever threshold your using.           Q:As this is bendable, can it bend so one portion creates a longer step? We are checking if my older brother will be able to get in and out of house himself for medical visits. There's one step but it's not long/wide enough for him to pause to lock up.

            EZ to use and move
            I love the way it folds up. Very easy to move and yake with us when we visit friends who don't have a ramp. Works great at our house for getting up and down the first 2 steps from the driveway.

            Good to Load Power Chair into SUV
            Our SUV has a 31” rise. The ramp is very stable, especially using the extensions. I can easily power the chair up and back down without assistance. Good quality and they fit into the back of our SUV. A bit heavy/bulky to handle; removed the bolts joining the two sides and just slip in the provided cotter pins to rejoin once I have them in place. Wear gloves; handling them can be hard on delicate hands and there are some blunt edges. I highly recommend. Just be ready for a slight workout.

                Trifold wheelchair ramp.
                The trifold wheelchair ramp is not too heavy and easy to use and transport however a more secure locking mechanism would have been better suited than just heavy duty velcro strips as it may swing out and hit up against knees while transporting. other than this minor detail it still seems to deserve 5 stars as it is very well constructed and adequately stable.

                  We bought two of them since we had two landings and each about 7 inch drop, one to front porch from house and another from porch to driveway level. It helped to wheel our injured family member right to where they could get in to the car with folding and moving one ramp at each level. It is easy to fold open and close, you have to have some strength to move them around. Check the weight of the product and test something at home to see if you can lift.

                    Bought two to facilitate direct transfer via a four wheel walker with seat, one from home to porch and second from porch to driveway near car. They do have some weight to them for handling so some consideration has be taken into account if each time they will be taken up and put away. They are also handy in that if one is going to visit someone with steps, they are transportable and can fit in a vehicle.

                    This will work well for when my mom is here to visit. I like that we can take it with us in case we might need it for her when we travel. It is heavy and a bit cumbersome (we got the 10ft) but breaking it into two sections is very helpful. I’d rather it was heavy and sturdy than light and flimsy! A great solution for us. Shipping from Home Depot was great!

                    Great while needed
                    Sadly, the need for the ramp is no longer necessary. A wheel chair rolled down it only once and it worked well. It was easy to set up and fold up after its need had passed. It is waiting for a new user!
