The 1.9 in. Round EZ ADA Wall Return is a slightly bent elbow for returning EZ 1.9 in. round handrails to the wall. The included 3 in. splice makes attaching the wall return a breeze. No special tools are required for installation.

A:  You can buy long sections of straight railing to customize the overall length.

    A:  These wall returns are 9" long. Therefore a total 5' railing length, end to end, would require a pipe segment of 3'-6".

    A:  Hi, PJ. Well isn't my response to Bob confusing and inaccurate. Hopefully, I can get that removed, it is a response to a different product. This wall return (EZA585-HB) contains ONE wall return and ONE 3" splice to connect it to any EZ Round Handrail. Thank you for bringing this to my attention PJ. Dan H. (EZ Handrail Dev. Team)

          Makes for a very handsome installation, fitting snug against the wall. It come with an aluminum insert to join with handrail pipe. Not an easy task. The inserts, fortunately, have a longitudinal split that I had to pinch together with a couple of clamps in order to insert into both the Wall Return and the handrail pipe. Once inserted, they cannot be undone. It's as permanent as a full penetration weld. If you have a Wall Return at each end of the handrail pipe, make darned sure they are properly aligned.

            EZ Handrail is a nice product, but Wall Returns have issues. The compression sleeve that joins it to its hand rail does not hold it firmly enough. It separates from the handrail which looks bad and could possibly slip off altogether if a heavy person grabs it and pulls it hard enough.
