Great Fit and Fast Shipping
This Brita filter showed up much faster than I thought it would, was packaged well and was very simple to install! The flow rate is the same to my kitchen tap, but the water coming out of it is much better. Thinking about getting another one for my bathroom now.

These work just as well as any other filter I have installed. After installing I have noticed no degradation of water quality. These fit perfect in my Culligan whole house filter and usually will last me around 3 months till I need to change it again. For the price they are a great value and I will continue to use them. I usually will keep a stock on hand, so I never run out.

These filters are for a whole house filtration system, and are 10" Universal Water filters. They arrived on time, in a relatively large box, but were undamaged and in great shape. There are two of them in a package, and the package shows that they filter down to 5 microns, which is pretty good. The packaging says it's Standard Capacity and should last for 3 months. However, there are only 3 of us in our house, and we only average around 100 gallons per day in water usage, so our sediment stage filters tend to last us at least 6 months. We've never noticed any decrease in flow or pressure and I change our whole house sediment filter every 6 months, and our whole house Carbon filter every 3 months.

I have used paper filters, string wound filters, and the melt blown type filters. They all work reasonably well as a rust and sediment filter. As far as rating them, I would rate the string wound filter no. 1, the melt blown filter no. 2, and the paper filter no. 3. I also use a carbon filter as a secondary odor and taste filter. I think you need to utilize a water filtering system to maintain good clean water flowing in your home.

The EcoPure filter works well in reducing sediment and is a universal fit for water filtration systems (e.g., Culligan, Watts, Filtrete, 3M, GE, etc.). These are an economical solution to whole house filtering when looking to reduce sediment such as sand, silt and rust. They are inexpensive and last up to 3 months. The package does not describe or mention anything additional but is only applicable to sediment removal. I’ve included some photos of before and after so you could see the effectiveness of the filter. I would not recommend this filter for other issues relating to taste or other chemicals but would recommend getting a sample of your water tested at your county/local government office. They will do it for free and are not trying to sell you something. You could then make a decision on what filter your household would need - this may be all you need. It does work very well and I recommend.

Fresh refills once to twice a year is recommended, my unit is connected to a hot drink Nescafe machine which gets more usage in the winter, and rarely over the summer, So I may just do it in the beginning of the winter. The ones that is connected to our ice maker, which we use daily will get changed January and July like clockwork. Always smart to keep extra water filters on hand. It is easy to change them, just unscrew the unit, and change the filter. I always run two or three clear water through it to clear the lines.

These fit my GE whole house filter perfectly. Our municipal water system products so very good water, but i installed this filter to catch any possible contaminants from a water break or repair, and this filter cartridge should work great for that. It was an exact replacement for the original media, and installed easily. Keep in mind it is not designed to capture microorganisms or to remove chlorine or other chemicals. And unlike the string wound filter element I was using, i noticed no drop in water pressure or volume.

I needed replacement filters for my whole house system and thought I'd give these a try. I am really happy with these filters. The first thing I noticed was it felt like it was made very well. I was a little weary because they didn't have rubber ends like the original filter, but they seated very well and are doing their job. Our city water has an awful smell to it and these helped us to get rid of it.

This is a generic, budget filter that works great for better filtering. At 5 Microns, you will get most sediment out of your water, but it will not remove chemicals and such. Also at 5 Microns you will notice a significant water flow decrease compared to a 20 or 30 Micron pleated filter which is standard for Whole House filtering. Extra-Fine sediment filtration: dirt, sand, silt, rust particles and scale particles. While it says it fits most major brand systems, that depends on your system. If you have a universal whole house filter, then it will fit. The filter measures about 10" x 2-1/2" so check your existing filters. In my case, I use a Kem Flow PWFHHW2510 Hot Water Filter High Temperature Housing (Equiv. Watts HD4500HT34). I have sediment coming from my water heaters, so I filter after the heaters to keep sediment from clogging the aerators and valves throughout the house. These filters work fine and end up turning brown when spent. While it says you can get 3 months out of a filter, I can generally get 6 months. It depends on how much water you use. These 5 Micron filters might best be used for specific isolated applications (under the sink, etc) rather than as a Whole House filter because of potential water flow issues. The equivalent filter is a Culligan P5A.
