A cubic yard is 27 cubic feet (3' x 3' x 3'). Given that the dimensions of the raised garden bed are 4' x 4' x 11" ( 0.9166667'.) the amount of soil needed is 14.66667 cu ft., or, 0.54321 cubic yards (14.66667 cu. ft. divided by 27 cu. ft).

Could someone please tell me how thick the boards are? Thank you

Is this tongue and groove?

Trellis is too thin to support weight of plants. Will have to shave poles that have straight sides to go into roundish rectangular holes. Then will have to glue crossbars as well as tongue and poles of trellis. Would never but again.

You will need to widen the connection as the pre cut slot is of the wrong size.

Since when do straight sided trellis poles fit into roundIsh rectangle shaped holes. Not satisfied at all. Wood of trellis is too thin to hold weight of green beans. Will have to shave wood on poles and use glue to fit Into round trellis holes.

The raised bed box went together easily. The trellis was difficult. The square peg in the round hole problem. The trellis frame uses a mortise and tenon construction but the mortise portions are oval cut and the tenon portions are rectangular. Needed to chisel each mortise to make them fit, plus the mortises were rough cut with a lot of waste wood left in the opening. The lattice pieces were cut cleaner and matched well but keeping them in place while trying to insert the ends into frame is impossible without some method to hold them in place. I used some blue painter's tape wrapped around the cross sections but using short brad nails would have been better. What should have been a 30-minute job took 90-minutes to assemble.

The lattice didn't fit into the sides without some work. And the screw holes were set to go into where another screw was. I was still able to assemble it and it works fine after that.

The joints connection points did not match. Be prepared to have a wood chizel handy to carve 20+ ovals that should be rectangle s just so the lattice can fit together.

You get what you pay for here. This was an absolute piece of junk. We should have just bought the wood and built ourselves - it would have been better quietly. None of the holes are drilled properly - think round holes square begs. It breaks incredibly easily. We gave up and just nailed the trellis piece together. For $100 just buy the wood and make your own. This is junk.
