Pefect for a Little Pantry Door
We added this hook and eye closure for our little pantry door, and it works great! The door also uses foam weather seal, which gives it both weather-proofing and a snug closure. We pre-drilled 1/2” plywood with a 1/8” bit before screwing this in: first the hook closure, then using it to measure the best-fit location for the eye.

A lighter gauge than the similar item from National, but also a bit less costly. Seems strong enough, but I'd prefer the beefier ones, thus one star less. Decent enough, you won't use this type of fastener for heavy loads, anyway.
