Hi, I need to bend this to 90 degrees. I am a girl that really knows nothing about this stuff but I'm willing to learn and try. If I heat this product, do you think I can bend it then? I am afraid of heating it without someone telling me it's ok. The tag on the item says: Warning: The product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. :0 Can I hammer it 90 degrees ya think?

In my experience the trick would be to bend it without breaking. Picture one long bend, 10" radius = won't break. Very short bend, 1/2" radius = probably will break. You WILL be able to bend this with your hands if you have a fairly large radius, think a 32oz jar of peanut butter, radius of ~2". Heating will allow tighter bends without breaking - and require less effort. If you do heat, get a fan, blow the smoke away, do it where there is lots of ventilation = outside.

Is this a bit flexible? I just need it to be very slightly curved.

I'm using it to thread through several 1x2s. The plans I have call for a 5/32 dia. galvanized steel wire/ or threaded rod.I can't find that exact part but Im hoping this will work.

Nope. This is 8/32 = too big.

I use this to attach the 2x4 rails to the 4x4 posts. I use fender washers, lock washers and nuts to complete the fastening. Makes excellent repairs! Fantastic product! Easy to cut off with my angle grinder and metal cutting blade.
