Product Details

The Metal Recessed Dryer Vent Box allows the dryer to be pushed up against the wall of the laundry room instead of having to be positioned 5 in. to 6 in. away in order to accommodate the dryer duct. The box also completely protects the duct from being crushed. When using this product lint build-up is minimized due to the limited kinks and bends.

Made of steel
To be used in 2 in. x 6 in. or 2 in. x 4 in. new build applications or in rooms where drywall has not yet been installed
Can be used with both gas and electric dryers

A: Hello and thank you for your question in regards to our 12 in. W x 17.75 in. L Metal Recessed Dryer Vent Box. Unfortunately the inside section (where the duct will go and the vent box hole is) measures over 16" length wise and will not fit properly between 16" stud spacing when put horizontally.

A: Hello and thank you for your question in regards to Everbilt Metal recessed Dryer Vent Box. The small 3/4" hole next to the larger vent hole is there to feed a gas line in case your dryer requires a gas hook up.

It is an inch too deep for my interior walls. Maybe it’s only really made for exterior walls that are thicker but if it was an exterior wall wouldn’t the dryer be vented straight outside?
