A:  APMS, Thank you for your question. The steel used for this slide is a little more than 1mm thick. Ther is always sttock and machine tolerances that can cause the thickness to vary slightly. Liberty test their slides to industry standards~Best, Liberty Hardware Customer Care Team

A:  If you want the drawer to have the fullest extension possible, buy the largest size that will fit inside the cabinet. This may mean that the slide would extend inside beyond the edge of the drawer by an inch or 2.

Q:My pantry is 23 deep and the shelf is recessed and is 21 deep. Instructions show cabinet side glide mounted flush to the front. Can this be recessed back to accommodate the difference in size or can I use the longer glide and trim the shelf side?

          Answer This Question

A:  Ortho, thank you for your question. If you have a face frame cabinet - you can use a drawer socket to accommodate those 2". That should work. If not, you can put a shim behind the socket. ~Best, Liberty Hardware Customer Care Team

            Didn’t even include screws
Mine didn’t even come with screws, description on product is very ambiguous and I thought that the slide socket for face frames was included but it’s not. Definitely returning the second one I bought.

I am very pleased with the look and quality of these pull-out cabinet drawers. Once installed, they work very smoothly and quietly. They are better than drawers I have previous built in my woodworking shop. That said, the installation can be a bit tricky if you haven't measured your cabinet accurately. I removed the clip-on frameless door hinges and Installed the top drawer after removing the top shelf so I could easily work on it. I installed 1" angle brackets at the back edge to stabilize it from tipping once back in the cabinet. I marked and pre-drilled all screw holes with a 1/16" drill bit or a small nail with the head clipped off. However, these drawers (attached to a shelf) are heavy to maneuverer back into the cabinet. Take your time... their worth it!

I have used these slides convert the shelves in our lower kitchen cabinets from fixed to pull-out. The 22" slides are the correct size for our standard depth cabinets and I used 8 pairs of slides overall. The slides were easy to install and work smoothly even when there are some moderately heavy kitchen items on the shelves.
