Q:What is the "D806 socket set" required for face-frame cabinets, what does it do, how is it installed?

Q:There is a force needed to open drawer in first Inch or so. Feels like it trying to overcome mechanism in back. Is this an installation error? Leveling? Toed in or out? I can't imagine cooking with 10 of these installed so I've stopped at one.

Q:The instructions indicate that the slide release lever pulls up. However, both sides have the same orientation and so one side lever pulls down and the other pulls up. Doesn't work.

Q:I see the width is listed as 1/2 inch - does that mean:
1) both slides together are 1/2 inch, so each slide is 1/4 inch ?or
2) each slide is 1/2 inch, so both together are 1 inch ?

Soft close does not work after few years.
I had to replace both the slides that I purchased few years back. Soft close stopped working and it started to slam.

First drawer install went well
I spent a lot of time making sure the spacing for the cabinet members was perfect front to back, same height, and level before screwing them down. This made my drawer install perfect on the first try. No adjustments needed. The drawer glides smoothly.

Well built, perfect size
I purchased these drawer slides so I could upgrade my lathe stand to have a 18"x24" drawer. I originally built everything expecting to use some old wheel drawer slides I had lying around but I realized that I needed something better. These have the soft close function which works well for me because the drawer stays closed even when my lathe is going. I also live the fact that they're full extension so I can access my chisels easily.

This was a pretty heavy duty application, which was a record album cabinet with 6 drawers, each one holding 50 to 60 LP’s. The slides were easy to install with the use of a simple jig I made to get the spacing right. Even the soft close works great!

I was in need of replacing the draw slides due to them being 20 years in service. You get a 2 page pictoral with instruction on replacement. Removal and replacement of the draw slides is simple to do with the provided screws and and electric drill and philip drill bit.. After completion, no more, "can you come open the drawer". Bought 3, 2 failed.
I used two of the 24" glides for a trash drawer. Worked absolutely great for about the first 2 months. Then the bearings fell out of the top of the left one and the drawer has to be forced shut. Thought it was a fluke, and didn't have my receipt, so I went and bought another one and replaced it. This time it lasted 3 weeks and the same issue happened again. I bought another that I have yet to install, but if this happens again, I will be finding another option. These are way too expensive to pretend they are disposable. I would not recommend these to anyone.

Not great when switching from bottom guide to side rail guide
I love the soft close drawers at my own house, so when we recently renovated a an older home with one set of drawers, we decided to add soft close side rails to make the old kitchen drawers feel new again. I don't know if it was because our contractor had to make so many adjustments to install these, but they are stiff, and only one of the three actually works as the soft close. I would not do this again unless I was swapping out from another existing side rail.
