Q:Could this be used as a line post, also, for deer netting (heaviest deer netting, but still light)? What, specifically, makes this an end post not a line post, please?
    by|Mar 2, 2024
    1 Answer
    Answer This Question

A:  Corner posts are thicker, have a higher diameter, and are stronger than line posts. Yes, corner posts can be used as line posts but for most applications is overdoing it.

Q:I need to know whether a 1 5/8" diameter post made for Tenax deer netting would fit inside this post (need to compensate for a difference in height -- complicated). The 2 3/8" diameter is external. Can someone please tell me the INTERNAL diameter of this?

      1 Answer
      Answer This Question

A:  The inner diameter is 2.245 inches.

        Stickers everywhere!
Stickers were all put on top of poles and almost deliberately put on so wouldn’t be able to take off? They should have been put on bottom of poles ! This would be the part that goes in the ground, not up where the caps fit but don’t cover up! Has them delivered but may need to take back and pick up ones without damage?

I bought this post thinking I could use it to build a gate unfortunately the metal is so cheap that it makes the gate flex and drop down to the ground. These post's are not as strong as a professional post from a fencing company. I wish i knew before having permanent installation.

          18inches into the ground!
for a 6 ft pole, you should use this for a 4" fence since you need 18" in the ground. I only put it in the ground about 10 inches or so, but I had a couple sticks of rebar supporting it in the ground. I also had 2 brackets drilled to the wall so it won't lean

            Very Sturdy Post
This Everbilt 2-3/8 inch diameter x 8 ft long 16-gauge galvanized metal fence corner post really gets the job done. This pole is sturdy and the 16-gauge metal (approx. 1/16" thick) is nice and heavy and doesn't give any inclination that it could possibly bend out shape. The top is machined to accept a pop-on cap and the bottom is smooth is straight.

Over the years, we have faced large increases in the cost of our raw materials. In order to stay in business, the entire building materials industry has been forced to increase prices. Everbilt-MAT
