A:  Everbilt 3/8 in. x 1 ft. Grade 30 Zinc Plated Steel Proof Coil Chain is not a stainless steel chain. It is zinc plated and would not be appropriate for marine environment. Please refer to model # 806450 or 810370 for Grade 304 Stainless steel chains.

    A:  For the Everbilt 3/8 in. x 1 ft. Grade 30 Zinc Plated Steel Proof Coil Chain, the working load limit is 2,650 lbs. So your application use is not recommended for 236,000 lbs. Reference: Chain accessories (hooks, shackles, quick links, etc.) should have the same or higher working load limit as the chain being used. If not, the assembly shall only be rated as strong as the weakest component. Please consult a professional tow truck handler.
