This spring link is not your typical carabiner as the loop is perfect for attaching something to one end while using the rest of it to attach to something else. I use it as part of my indoor clothesline in my utility room to attach the rope to. The regular carabiner end of it attaches to a hook in the wall. It's a little stiffer but feels strong than a regular carabiner that size. Does the job well.

It’s built very well and secured firmly to my belt ring permanently due to the separate loop built into the link. Don’t have to worry about it falling off.
