I made a gadget to keep my trailer hitch from rattling around when it wasn't hooked up to a trailer. It works very well but the original allthread I used would corrode pretty quickly even after I'd clean it up with a wire wheel. This stainless allthread will take care of that and theres enough left over so that if I need any more 3/8 nc allthread I will have it handy.

This Everbilt, 5/8 inch x 11 Tpi x 24 inch length stainless steel threaded rod is a great value for the money. The 5/8 thickness makes it very strong and it looks like the threads are cut very cleanly and accurately. The stainless material is extremely corrosion resistant and can be used in any application that is exposed to harsh environments. Depending on the application I use threaded rod instead of a bolt. I cut the rod to length and use two stainless nuts and washers. Cutting this stainless is easiest with an abrasive cut-off wheel in a saw or die grinder as it is very hard material.

I'm always finding new uses for simple threaded rod, from heavy-duty hanging shelves to custom-length studs to U-bolts. Heck, for a while I was making custom-length sway-bar end links from 3.8" stainless rod. This 5/8" stainless rod is seriously heavy-duty, it may be overkill for my application (tension adjusting rod for a belt-driven buffer), but I wanted something with a relatively coarse thread (this has 11 tpi) for quick adjusting. I cut it to size using an abrasive chop saw; if you do cut it, keep in mind you will likely have to reconstruct the threads on the cut end (I threaded a die on it before cutting, so thread clean-up was simple).

First time ever stainless steel threaded rod and can not wait to use it on my boat. Selected stainless for the longevity, strength, and the ability to remove after exposed to the elements. Will make a great replacement for the rusted all thread the previous owner used that will have to be removed with a die grinder. I intend to cut this with the die grinder because I know stainless is hard to cut. I highly recommend this product.

All thread such as this has many uses. It can be used for mounting things in all types of places. I. Have used it on motors.replaceing regular bolts. It can be screwed in just like a bolt. Then leaving extra thread sticking up a inch or more. Then putting a nut on all thread to hold the part in place. Then you have extra bolt sticking up so that you can mount something else. Then in the garage I have used a couple of all thread mounted on overhead beams hanging down to hold a eight foot light fixture. It is very strong for most any use.

This Everbilt ½” – 13 tpi X 24” Stainless-Steel Threaded Rod was perfect for my needs. I built a Homer Table for a flood and drain system to be used in my greenhouse. Everything works great except the tray sags in the middle so I decided to add support using this rod. This rod is the perfect size for the support I need and being stainless it is most appropriate for use in the greenhouse. It’s not the biggest of greenhouses so I didn’t want the rod ends sticking out and snagging me as I walked by. At 24” in length the size matched the width of the table. I was able to recess the ends using a Forstner bit to drill nut depth hole on both sides of the table frame and then drill half inch centered holes for the rod. Completed the rod looks good and works even better. There is a bit of sag when the tray is filled but that’s okay with me since it is still providing the support I need. It’s nice when things work but I still gotta fiddle. I’m going to add a couple of more of these rods between the existing one and the table ends.

Great stainless steel threaded rod in 1/2" x 24" x 13 thread-per-inch. Can be cut to length with a metal saw for anchors, feed-through anchors and lots of applications in the outdoors where corrosion can be an issue. I used mine to make shelf supports in the garage by adding a nut and washer at the top and using the same at the bottom where I can adjust the level of the shelf easily. (see picture) The only complaint is that it is not made in the USA.

The Everbilt 1/4 inch x 12 inch Stainless Steel Threaded Rod with 20 threads per inch (TPI) exhibits good manufacturing quality. The threads are even with no damage or tooling marks. Nuts threaded onto the rod with no issues. The rods can be used for a variety of projects and the stainless steel will support exterior installation. The rod also cut well with a threaded rod cutter.

If you need to solve a problem with spacing then this 12" threaded rod combined with 1/4" nuts allows you to place brackets at any distance from each other. Using slip washers you can make a multiple hanger that is strong and looks good. Use for combining wood products up to 11" applying load washers and nylock nuts. Useful for joining wood to metal brackets or metal brackets to iron. Made in China steel.

Good product, make sure to use the correct nuts and washers..................................... This is an unbiased review that is unaffected by the fact that I received this product for free. As proof of impartiality, just click on my nickname and see the average of the ratings I have given over 300 reviews to date. I plan to use this threaded rod on my dock to replace a galvanized one that is badly deteriorated by exposure to sun and salt water. I have used other stainless 304 rods like this and they have held up well in this environment where they are immersed in salt water many times per month. Even though this is type 304 and not the better type 316, I know from experience that it will work almost as well over time. I suggest that you use only compatible stainless steel nuts and washers. Do not use galvanized steel washers as they are a looser fit to accommodate the extra plating/dipping that goes with a galvanized rod. On a regular steel or stainless steel rod, they will be too loose and not as strong. I found no issues with the threads of this rod. Nuts (not included) were easy to start and did not bind anywhere. If you want to test this product with a magnet to see if it is good stainless steel, be advised that there will be a slight attraction of the magnet because of the machining/working process of making the threads. This is normal.
