An improvement in water pressure
I bought this filter to replace my old filter. This new filter gets similar numbers on TDS and has the same taste - in other words both filters did their jobs perfectly. But I've noticed that this new one also doesn't choke the water pressure like the old one. So, I'm very pleased with it.

Well made filter as part of Express Water whole house system
This is the second filter of the 3 in our Express Water whole house system (sediment, KDF, carbon). It is well made and does a great job filtering out metals and chlorine.

Removed all the iron in my water.
I bought this filter as part of the Express Water whole house filter system. It is the middle filter in that system - SED, KDF, Carbon. I had my well water tested before installing the filter and the iron content was .33 mg/L. This was high enough that the water was visibly brownish. I retested after the filter install and the iron content was down to 0. It worked well. I did also have a small amount of arsenic in the water - 3.9 ug/L. The filter only removed some of this, down to 2.5 ug/L. I understand that there are two different forms of arsenic and my guess is that this only removes one form. I was told beforehand though that the only way to remove all arsenic is through reverse osmosis. So I also have an RO filter for drinking water.
