Sturdy enough for gripping an axe yet nimble enough to wear pruning rose bushes. These gloves are awesome. They fit as expected (always get husband L and these fit perfectly). They slightly more breathable than the canvas work gloves we'd use holes into. We much prefer these now. When you're up on a ladder on a hot day and don't want to drop your tools on the person below you, these are the gloves for you!

Way better than I expected
Back in March the team at Firm Grip Gloves sent me a pair of their new Dura-Knit gloves to review and I have been using them for just about everything ever since. I wanted to make sure that I gave them a good run before leaving any sort of review. So I put them through the paces. I moved a few hundred board feet of hardwood, sheet after sheet of plywood, and used them to prepare some old barn wood for a friend. From there the Dura-Knit gloves have been used for hauling garbage and yard debris. The last test was the “hard labor” test - shoveling and moving countless cubic yards of dirt, digging trenches, and laying drains and sprinklers. The first two pair of Firm Grip Gloves I bought last summer for the backyard project ended up wearing out a little prematurely and the Firm Grip team didn’t hesitated replace them and send me a pair of leather gloves to try. I wanted to see how these knew knit gloves compared to the two other pairs. I was surprised. They held up a lot better than I thought. I wasn’t sure the palms of the gloves would hold up as well as my leather pair and I was worried about the knit getting snagged and stringy. The palms held up. You can see some wear in the pictures but the grip has lasted and the knit held up way better than I expected. There have been a few snags but nothing that affected the integrity of the gloves fit, feel, and function. After three months of near-daily use I think they’re a keeper. I’ll probably pick up a couple more pairs to keep as spares. I’d put these in the medium-duty category and we’ll see how they hold up after the backyard is done. Maybe they’ll surprise me again.

Breathable 3D Knit like my running shoes!
I have been testing out the brand new Dura-Knit gloves and really loving this new design! They are made with a 3D knit construction like my running shoes so they are both breathable and comfortable. I like the stretch fit for the back, the extreme grip on the palms and fingers, and I am glad someone thought to make the index finger compatible with using touch screens like my phone. So far so great! Awesome work on these @firm_grip_gloves team!

The Firm Grip knit work gloves have a great gripping surface. The rubbery gripping material covers the palm and all fingers. They even work well on oily tools. The back of the gloves is a woven stretchy material that is breathable. I like the touch screen feature on each index finger. These actually work. Another nice feature is they can be washed with my other work clothes. Overall a nice pair of gloves.

These gloves work great and are super grippy on the inside! The knit is actually really comfortable and the gloves feel really light while wearing them and don't get too hot. The touch tip is on both pointer fingers and they work surprisingly well! Most of the time gloves that have this feature don't work but these work great! My only complaint for these gloves are how easy they get dirty, the knit fabric soaks in any oil and dirt, but they do clean up nicely and you can wash them right up! These gloves are awesome and very comfortable! I highly recommend them!

      Great all around gloves
I have used thes gloves for everything from carpentry to gardening. They have been very valuable to me building a trailer from the ground up. The touch screen function worked the firsg day than never again but the flexibility and durability has been unmatched. Initially I didnt think they would hold up, but after breaking them in (around 3 days) they have been amazing ever since and my go to glove.

Comfortable. Flexible. The rubberized little triangles help you to grip things like a shovel or rake. The Velcro tab cinches the gloves securely and tightly. Dirt and sawdust will not get into your gloves. The outside knuckles are padded. If you hit something on your outside knuckles you will likely NOT be bleeding. You will have less scrapes and bruises on the outside of your hands. True to size. They are a bright orange and black color.

These gloves fit PERFECT and feel great. The only minor issue I had was that the velcro can stick on the finger and pull the fabric a bit. I really like the fit guide that they have on the product listing online. It helped me select the size I needed and it fit exactly as they said it would, so I'm pretty stoked. I did end up putting a hole in mine, but that was a result of my personal stupidity as I wore them while grinding and sharpening my lawn mower blades (basically melted a small hole in them as they're polyester, but again...my stupidity wearing them when I knew I should probably use my leather ones, but these fit so nice I reached for them anyway. One way I like to test if gloves fit well is if I can tie my shoes while wearing them. Tying shoes with any gloves on is difficult, but I feel a well fit glove makes the task easier. I was able to pull it off, so test passed! PROS: - Perfect fit - Work with cell phone. Only the pointer finger supposedly works, but I was able to get the thumb to work too. - Fit guide with hand measurements makes for easy size selection - Breathable. One could see this as both a pro and a con depending on the work you're doing, but there are small holes on the fingers and palms that help with breathability so you don't get super sweaty hands. CONS: - Despite how comfortable they are, you probably SHOULDN'T wear them for jobs that include hot metal sparks flying...

This is a good general work glove for the price. The glove's main claim to fame is the substantial grip factor the glove provides. The “rubberized” underside of the glove is heavily populated with raised triangles of silicone that stick nicely to whatever you’re holding. The top part of the glove is a fabric mesh that stretches nicely, but after picking up a bunch of pine cones and pine needles, I discovered that the sharp tips of those items can easily penetrate the mesh, so for this specific job, I’d recommend using another type of glove. I usually wear an XL glove. I found the the X-Large size was a bit too large for me. Too much room left in the finger tips for me. I think a “Large" might have worked better, but if you have the option to try them on first, that would remedy this issue. The glove has an extra layer of padding on top that protects your knuckles a little bit more from bumps and other impacts that might occur. The velcro wrist closure works nicely to secure the glove. Overall, a nice work glove.

The "firm Grip X-Large Dura-Knit Work Gloves, Orange/Black" are nice gloves. They fit well (I normally wear an XL glove). They are made of breathable duraknit fabric; they are touch screen compatible (saves time from having to remove gloves); they have knuckle protection and reinforced construction around high wear points; they have an adjustable wrist strap that helps keep debris out of the gloves; and they are machine washable. Excellent product!
