This light came well packaged, seems to be very sturdy unlike my last post light which was more aluminum and actually failed and broke at the mount. Getting the opportunity to get this light was perfect timing, I had the old light held in place with tie strips for a few months.
The fixture comes in two pieces the glass panels are separate and there are 4, assembly is simple and installation was also easy. I would recommend having someone hold the fixture while you connect the wires although not totally necessary just easier and less stress on the wires as your connecting them while the fixture is hanging down from the post.
Overall I feel this light based on how solid the base feels and the overall fixture is built that it will definitely hold up better than our last one!

Very easy to mount on old light pole. Gave a whole new look to our house and definitely upped the curb appeal. Just painted the pole black and the look was complete. Gave us a great facelift to our entryway. Matching outdoor lighting on the house also made the entire package a great success. Product is sturdy and well made. The seeded glass is a classic touch

I love the lantern, especially because of it's height. At about 25 inches tall combined with it's pewter finish, it has the clean lines of an elegant, but old, outdoor colonial street lamp. The glass panels are made of seeded glass and has a slightly wavy texture which adds to the old colonial look of the lamp. The unit is very well made and gives plenty of light. It is relatively easy to install for a DIYer. It is a very nice improvement to my sidewalk.

This light fixture is beautiful and very bright. It really does a great job of lighting my sidewalk and under my covered deck. It is made of good quality materials and really, really easy to install. I love the nice clean lines and love the lantern look. That little hands on top gives it the perfect effect. I would definitely recommend this fixture. It gave my old light pole a nice fresh look.
