Good quality but finicky to install in some cases
The cap is solidly built and looks great. The top piece is fastened by 4 tiny machine screws that were difficult to attach from underneath and very, very easy to drop and lose. Shoudn’t be too bad on a fencing project where the top of the post is close to the ground and you have a clear path to the screws but my project was high up and the posts already had cross pieces attached so driving in the screws at a slight angle was nearly impossible and many of them are now thread-bound. I’d like to see an easier way to attach the top pieces. That said, I’ll be buying more of these to match the ones I have because they look great once installed.
