Frosting
We bought this in April 2023. The top shelf and top of the inside door is now frosting and building ice. Called Frigidaire customer service. Took hours on chat but we got a repair man out. He replaced the seal. STILL FROSTING. He came back tried heating and adjusting, STILL FROSTING! When we called Frigidaire back after 4 hours the customer service lady said there’s no one to service in our area. Husband said yes we had someone out already twice, she then hung up on him. We want our money back!

The freezer size works great for me. Happy that I can again stock up on items and access them easily in the upright design instead of a chest freezer.

The door is not sealing at the top when shut. I’ve put sticks in between door and rubber seal to prevent frost accumulation inside. I am Very unhappy with this !!

Great for bulk meat
I bought this freezer 10 months ago to a chest freezer. I’m able to see what’s in it at a glance. The freezer is equipped with an external light that lets one know that it is running. I had no idea up until today just how handy that feature would be. I had stuffed the freezer with over 230 pounds of beef. A few hours later the light started blinking, alerting me that there was an issue with the temperature in the freezer. I was able to resolve the issue (user error) quickly, averting a disaster.

Garage Placement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this model because it is upright and has a proven range of temperatures it is capable of working in. The freezer resides in my garage and although it is insulated I wanted to be sure the freezer would operate in temps from 40 to 80 degrees. So far it's working beautifully!
