Product Details

Your GE Nugget Ice Maker produces up to 65 lbs. of ice per day. With its large capacity bin, you can store up to 26 lbs. of nugget ice. With its convenient automatic shut off you never have to worry about the bin overflowing. The interior LED lighting puts the nugget ice in clear view and the Clean Light Indicator makes cleaning the product a breeze.

Q:I am having trouble locating a UPK3 drain pump kit. Will a UPK4 drain pump kit work on this unit?

A:  Thanks for reaching out to us about this! We're sorry that you're having trouble obtaining a UPK3 drain kit. Unfortunately, the UPK4 drain kit is not compatible with this icemaker. As for tracking down the correct drain pump kit, we encourage you to call our GE Appliance Parts store for further assistance at 1-877-959-8688 for assistance.     A:  Hi! Thanks for asking. This model has stainless case sides and is panel ready, so custom panels must be installed. This model also offers stainless options as an alternative to custom panels. If custom panels are not being used, you can purchase the optional Profile Series or Monogram Series stainless door. The stainless door will replace the panel-ready door when the unit is installed. You can choose from the following panel and handle kits if you're not wanting to use custom paneling: -CIP75D1 (Matte Black) -CIP75S1 (Stainless) -CIP75W2 (Matte White) -PIP70SS (Stainless Steel panel with GE Profile™ Series handle) -ZIP85SS for Monogram Statement Collection -ZIS85SS for Monogram Minimalist Collection.       A:  Hello - We appreciate your interest in this ice maker and we are happy to help! The ice machine is equipped with a gravity drain to prevent water from flowing back into the ice storage bin.             Better Than Expected!
            Usually I read reviews with a grain of salt because only "upset" people take the time to share their opinions. So here we are, one month in and I will tell you, WE LOVE THIS ICE MAKER! It is AMAZING! The ice looks and taste fantastic and worth every dollar spent. I will tell you that it does produce a little noise that is actually louder than my Sub-Zero refrigerator but this is not a deal-breaker. We installed a custom paneled door for our ice maker and it looks great. The amount of ice that this machine puts out is so much more than we expected. We fill the boat cooler easily and with left-over ice. I hope that you will be as happy as we are with this ice maker. A great purchase if you want the "Sonic / Chick-fil-A" ice. GO FOR IT !!!

              Love the nugget ice
              Love the convenience of nugget ice. However, with the pump, it does create a bit of noise we are not used to. If you have a large house, this is something that will not bother you. You can't shut the pump on and off. We love having this in our new kitchen, it is just one downside of it. You do have to order a door that matches your other appliances - in our case - Cafe - as you can see in our pics, the door is not here yet due to supply chain issues.

                Stopped working in less than a year.
                Less than one year old & this unit will not turn on or make ice.

                    The Best Ice Maker!
                    My husband got me this ice maker for Christmas. We were in the middle of a remodel and he surprised me with it. It is an exceptional ice maker. We have had several but not the “sonic” ice kind. The ice maker is quiet, efficient and perfect - it is beyond what I expected because there is just no comparison to the others. We couldn’t be happier with our purchase of this ice maker.

                      No exterior stainless steel door
                      The icemaker itself makes great ice! But the icemaker it self came without an exterior stainless steel door and handle. We were told that we would have to pay extra for the door and handle. Therefore, for now it sits in our Brand new kitchen like this! not a satisfied customer! I would totally have recommended IF I had a door! We have purchase numerous Ge products without a problem until this ice maker.

                          Very misleading product details. This unit is pictured with a door panel, both on Home Depot and GE websites, but the unit does not come with a door panel! Fine print details that the door panel is "Optional"...Seriously?? A Door Panel is Optional equipment?? And to add insult to injury....door panel is an additional $300! I am EXTREMELY displeased with both Home Depot and GE for allowing this to happen. All Competitors Ice Makers include the door panel, so IMHO this is just way for GE to appear price competitive, but the reality is that they are $300 more than the competition. Sale of product should be transparent so pictures should be of what the product that arrives will actually look like, which would be a picture of the IceMaker WITHOUT a door panel as I have included with my attached photo.
