Q:the aerator and cupping that came with my portable ar not long enough for the hook-up to seal so there is no way I can hook the f--kin hose up to the faust I went into the store (home depot) and ask so many people if they would help me, of cours NO ONE!!!

faulty part
4 1/2 years and the diverter valve failed, flooded the kitchen and ruined the basement ceiling and wall
I have installed a new valve but scared to use it. reports on the internet say the replacements only last a year or so. this seems like a faulty part and GE should figure out how to stop the failures. the failure is in a tiny hose thats connected to the valve
If I was shopping for a dishwasher, (which I might be ) I would avoid this GE dishwasher

Happy with purchase.
So far so good, everything works as it should. My husband did an excellent job, he used extra insulation when installing so its very quiet when running a load. Dinnerware/flatware/glassware all come out clean and dry. Nice looking finish on door, easy to wipe off fingerprints/spots.

Dead after 18 months, no parts available
Dishwasher failed just before 18 months. Appliance repair tech says no replacement part (user interface board) is available. I'm very disappointed this dishwasher died so quickly and cannot be repaired.

Awesome dishwasher
Easy to install and worked like a charm the first time, and the best part is that it’s pretty darn quiet… Especially compared to my old one… Very happy with this purchase

Love the look to it
Just installed it myself. Great product so far and looks great. Delivery for quick and helpful. Only thing I would ask is a better “clip” system for securing it to side mount or top mount, just kind of cheesy and kept getting in the way when installing. An included water line would be cool too.

Will be returning
This is probably the poorest product I bought in long time. Design is terrible and yes they don’t include power cord nor do they tell you that. Meaning I have to make a trip to HD to get the cord, which is additional $20 or so plus gas and my time. Aside from that you need to purchase 90 degree elbow because of their poor design as they decided to make water inlet face inside and there is no room to put a hose there and connect it without putting pressure on hose and plastic connection.

Ready for the dump after two years
I can’t say enough bad things about this miserable excuse for a dishwasher. In two years I’ve had it serviced 4 times under warranty and they wouldn’t take it back when it was clearly a lemon. Now I’m stuck using the special soap and rinse aide and it’s out of warranty. Multiple leaks from the L shaped hose and pump gasket. Spray arms routinely clog and dishes not clean. It just steam bakes food on. There’s nothing mechanically failed, it’s just a bad design.
