Good Entry Level Dishwasher
Just finished installing this dishwasher. It installs pretty basic If you're handy at all. You will need an electrial pigtail that's appx. 6 ft long, three wire nuts, a half inch Romex strain relief connector for where the pigtail exits the electrical box under the dishwasher, and a 90° female garden hose adapter to 3/8 in male flare, plus a 4' - 5' foot braided supply line with 3/8 in female flare nuts
on each end in order to hook it up to your kitchen sink hot water. This dishwasher is not particularly quiet; however, it is much quieter than the one I replaced it with, which had a failing pump. I've always had good luck with GE dishwashers, and I expect this one to be no different than my past experiences. The only reason I'm not rating it 5 stars is because it did not come with an electrical pigtail, wire nuts, Romex connector, and a built-in 3/8 in male flare fitting for the hot water... and it is a bit noisy.

Wet for a week
This dishwasher is worst than the one it replaced doesn't dry. Works perfectly if you like drying dishes. This was you 8 days ago.

We recommend using the available heat options on your dishwasher. Any that add heat will improve drying performance. You may use Heated Dry (Normal Cycle) or Dry Boost™ (Heavy Cycle).
Also, we suggest unloading the lower rack first. Water from the upper rack can spill toward the bottom if you unload it first.

Not the bargain it appeared to be.
I would not recommend this dishwasher. It is poorly designed and holds fewer items than the space provides. The individual spaces for dishes is much wider than need be resulting in fewer items being placed. Also,after the installation one piece fell on the floor that I think goes in the drain. The manual is not in pamphlet form, rather similar to a large newspaper with three different languages.
The controls need some getting used to as you must hold down the start button for at least 3 seconds, but sometimes when doing so, the machine starts and then turns off so, the process may take one or two more starts before the cycle actually begins. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Do not purchase regardless of price
This purchase has been nothing short of a nightmare. I bought it for the price and because it was GE. Upon delivery, the ONLY cycle that worked was the 2 1/2 hr one. When GE called a subcontractor to come out they never showed not once 2x (2 different ones.) The guy that showed up said they would order the part and setup a time to come back. No one showed up and no one including GE called. Terrible customer service and to this day 2 months later..no part, and not fixed. Part not in til mid Oct!!
