Won't keep cold
We bought a full set of GE appliances this month as part of a Black Friday special. From Day 1 this fridge won’t keep cold (which is the whole purpose of a fridge). We have thermometers in several locations of the fridge and the best it has ever done is at the top edge of safe temp. But if we put even cooled leftovers in the temp zooms up to 48-50 deg. Even Turbo Cool won’t get temp down to safe range. Unsafe! 48 hr return policy?? Buyer Beware!!!

Best refrigerator ever
I have bought many refrigerators and this one by far has the most space, well lit and I added the second ice maker in freezer. Can not beat this model. I prefer slate color.

Doors & Shelves are Frustrating
Replaced a similar French Door fridge by Samsung but the GE holds much less cubic feet. LG was quieter compressor-wise but failed after 10 years & 9 months as did the ice maker in year one & two (gave up on ice eventually).
The doors don’t automatically close & require them to be manually shut every time which is a learning curve & leaves the door partially open often (very annoying feature). Installers left blue tape on drawers & water filter & had to pull out glass to get to the tape.
Middle left side plastic interior door won’t hold standard soda cans & only holds tall & thin items - basically useless shelf & can’t be switched to any other slots.
It’s the stuff you don’t catch on the showroom.

All we need it to be
This is our second if the same. Tge first was already in our home when we bought it 5 years ago. It’s all it should be. We added an ice dispenser in the freezer because it’s so dang convenient! No complaints so far. Thanks for a good product!

Unbelievable space!! Loving it already!!
Beautiful appliance and everything you could want in a refrigerator. Space galore. There’s only one cu ft difference in our previous fridge and this one but our food was literally stacked on top of each other and you couldn’t find anything without taking everything out. That problem is solved! If reliability is half as good as the design, we’re in good shape.

Great appliance overall!
Overall a very nice refrigerator/freezer combo. My delivery/install process with Home Depot was a nightmare which is not on GE! My only issue is the water dispenser drips after it is used and not always directly after. My solution was to glue an oyster shell (happens to be perforated) onto the drip tray 🤷🏻♂️. It absorbs the water and it eventually evaporates. My last GE fridge/freezer last for 15 years and I am hoping this one will be around for some time to come.

Good refrigerator -- but there are some issues
The refrigerator works well and looks nice; however, the plastic (plastic wrap to protect the finish) is RIDICULOUS!! It is installed before the trim making it almost impossible to remove completely. This took my wife and I several hours, and it still isn't completely off -- after 2 months. The in-door water dispenser drips occasionally making it difficult to avoid making a little mess each time the water dispenser/ice maker is used. Unfortunately, these aren't the things you can try out or see before you buy it.

Love this model
The refrigerator looks great! The ice maker may look small but don’t be fooled, it keeps up with us and we love our iced drinks! The unit runs very quiet, which is great because our living area is open. The inside is nicely lit and everything is easy to get to. This freezer holds so much!! You won’t be disappointed. The outside is so easy to wipe down, it just looks good all the time.
