Answer This Question

A:  No

by|Mar 21, 2022

A:  I don’t know about your zip code area. But if I could return them I would in a heartbeat. I have found them to be horrible to try to use. Have a portable generator and bought the gas cans. Can’t hold-press-and pour at same time. I ate the cost and put  them in the garbage

A:  The noodle stays too sit it doesn't go into the can

      by|Apr 9, 2021

A:  The spout should be put back on the can and the dustcap in place for transport.

        by|Feb 5, 2020

A:  When I first bought this it had the nozzle off and strapped to the handle. I filled the can through the spout port. Then placed the spout on and connected the one safety piece and end screw cap.

          by|Jun 2, 2020

A:  The nozzle has to be in place to seal the can for transport.

            by|Dec 5, 2020

            A:  There’s a cap on the nozzle.

A:  Yes it is. I like it.

            by|Feb 15, 2019

A:  Yes. It is a black mesh that is supposed to prevent a flame from entering the can. A new regulation as usual

Q:The video shows a different can. I'd like to see the one pictured in action.

A:  I too have a different looking can from the one in the video. Actually eight of them, spanking new. And full of gasoline, 42 lbs each. Different spout, different shape and can, slightly different can. Descriptions and product details on various websites are useless, no, make that nonexistent. Not marketed as Briggs & Stratton, although name does appear as very secondary info on the product label, which must be peeled open to see... What? Maybe instructions? Which, the 42lb filled can, I will hold at eye-level to read? NFL. Whatever, it's not allowing itself to be removed. Well, I'll show them! I have scissors! Either that or grovel on the garage floor to take a photo. Quite annoying, the whole shooting match, but still has to be better than the dangerously unmanageable and inoperable never-to-be-used-again Midwest cans I bought last year. (We'll decapitate those and use them for plants.) Just one more omen foretelling the end of the world.

A:  Do not purchase, a waste of good money on this piece of junk.

                    by|Aug 7, 2019

A:  Yes. The one in the video is an old one. I have the cans in the video as well. I have no issues with them. Unfortunately, I don't have a video of the current one. Let's just say that if the arthritis on my fingers get worse, I won't be able to use these cans.

It is ok, but the pouring mechanism needs to be improved
Well after getting hit a bad storm and having to buy a generator, I needed to get a larger gas can that just the smaller can I use for my lawnmower. So, I got this one, mainly cause it was reasonably priced and a good size. It serves the purpose, although the pour spout and button is a bit flimsy. The button makes it easy to use, but it does seem to pour slowly as compared to one that does not have this. It works and does the job though. 4 stars

                        Worse gas can design ever
Very bad design. It only has top handle and you literally have to hug this thing in order to use it, and even then you need another nozzle to put on top of this one to make it work. Folks putting 5 star on this thing are either out of their minds or have no idea what this is for :) Why home depot allowed this thing on their shelves, is whole another mystery.

No way to hold the can to pour, you have to hold and press the entire time so you have to have three hands to operate. Needs a handle on the back

                          Terrible design
Absolutely terrible design. Who ever designed this gas can was obviously never going to use it. If you don’t use the small attachment funnel it's not too bad. It pours very slow, who wants to hold a 5 gallon can of gas that long unti it's emptied?

There is only a top handle (not a 2nd handle on the "back" of can). The depressible button has a high spring coefficient and was very difficult to depress. When filling my generator I spilled fuel (doesn't happen with my good can). I am an athletic 60 something woman and don't like asking for help for a simple task to fill a generator. If there was a negative rating I'd select it. I recommend the "No Spill" brand.
