A: Try working switch with your finger on & off. If it works properly, you made need to shim switch out to make it work with door. If it doesn't work, probably needs replaced. Good luck.
A: The switch needs replaced. It is worn out.
A: Switch must be bad. I’d get new one.
A: That I do not know. But you could mount it to inside behind door so when door is open it is off and when you close door it will come on. Just a thought if you cant find one that is normally open when button is out
A: We do not offer an exact version of this switch that is normally off, but we do have other push button switches that are normally off such as our GSW-22.
A: This switch is rated for 16A, 125 VAC / 10A, 277 VAC so as long as your application meets that rating then this switch should work.
A: Yes I bought mine a couple of weeks ago. And once it was delivered I installed it within 20 min.
A: Do you mean a sliding type of barn door that is in lieu of a door on a hinge? If that is the question, I'm not sure how well it would work. I can't think of how you would install it so the sliding door would depress the button to turn it on and off as you open and close it. maybe I'm missing something, but I don't think it would be a good fit for that application.
