Product Details

Extend the enjoyment of your outdoor space with our solarium. This unit can be left up year round, saving yourself the trouble of assembling and disassembling at the end of the season. The solarium is constructed of extruded aluminum and features a reinforced polycarbonate roof, 1 double sliding door and 5-position wind panels. This unit has been carefully designed to withstand exposure to rain, snow and harsh UV rays. This item is not insulated but you can still enjoy the extra lounge space to accommodate friends and family during various social festivities and relaxing spa days when the weather allow it.

Resists most types of weather
Powder-coated aluminum structure with polycarbonate roof, reinforced roof is made from 0.3125-in polycarbonate material in smoke color
Reinforced polycarbonate roof with UV protection
The wind panels can slide all the way down to the bottom or in any of the 5 positions of the solarium and allow maximum air circulation
Caps are included to hide all unsightly screws
Both ends of door rail are closed off to keep bugs from coming in
If the screening happens to tear, it is easily removable and replaceable

Excited in the beginning

I live in the snow belt of Upstate NY, so I knew coming into this that I would have to take extra measures to protect the roof/structure from storms. In the winter, I wrap the roof with a tarp and have electric deicers to melt snow. We’ve had storms with 4 feet of snow overnight, and this method works. However, the roof panels were damaged in year one from a summertime storm that wasn’t even really that bad, but the panels just don’t hold up. I’ll be replacing them with something else.

The Penguin Gazebo exceeds our expectations! I had read many reviews and decided this was exactly what we needed to replace our 15 year-old Casita brand screen house. Many said that the instructions could be clearer and/or it was challenging to assemble. Yes, but I was able to do much of it alone or with my wife’s help. Then I had two friends to help with the roof cap. I hope to put a YouTube video to assist with those doing this for the first time. We LOVE it!

Excellant Product.....12 x 18 Florence Solarium

It was difficult, but I did erect this solarium by myself. Recommend 2 people like they advised. We use this to enclose our 9' x 54"above ground pool which we keep heated at 94 degrees the year round. I built an enclosed pump and filter house between the Solarium and our house. It has given excellent service other than the UV roof is in need of replacement which I am currently trying to get a quote on...the current one has a lot of outer leaks from years of hail but the inner side has held up quite well. Other than ease of getting parts, I would recommend this product without reservation.

wasted Money

roof panels do not last more than 2 years and the company does not have a upgrade for the pro lem.

Dont waste your money on this

We had ours for about just under four years and its falling appart, roof panels are garbage and uv protection is pealing off, windows are coming appart and cant be fixed. I have called the company and they charge 750$ plus shipping and taxes for new roof panels, at this price you should invest in a wooden structure that you can repair if needed. Do not waste your money you will regret.

I am sorry to hear that you've had an issue with our product. Our roof are 5 years guaranteed for UV protection. But not guaranteed for non manufacture defect. we base our decision on the pictures that the customer provide to determine whether the defect is covered by the warranty or not. We highly recommend that you re-submit your claim with the pictures to customerservice@gazebopenguin.com for another evaluation. If you can provide more pictures, that can help get a clearer idea on the defect.
