I left a message with Pegasus/Glacier Bay, but we just installed our Pot Filler and we are noticing that the long arm is quite loose and not level with the mounting piece. It is easily moved up and down. We were wondering if its supposed to be loose as a design or did we get a defective piece. Also we noticed a little leaking at the spout assembly.

Where should this be mounted on wall in relation to cooktop, i.e. height above cooktop, distance from centerline of cooktop?

Depends on the size of your range. I have a 6 burner KichenAid Propane Range and mounted above the left most burner, pipe comes out 15" from range. If you only want to reach your high powered burners you could mount off set from the range. Make sure you of a direct shut off for the line feeding the facet. I plumbed the 1/2" line into a larger 3/4" water line in my basement to get possible higher pressure for fast filling.

GENIUS! Due to advancing age, arthritis and two large indoor dogs, it was becoming increasingly difficult to lift & invert heavy jugs onto their watering bowl! PERFECT solution!

My plumber installed this Pegasus Potfiller in November. Looked great, worked great for almost 3 months, until today. I walked into the kitchen & heard water running- searched until I found water flowing out of the wall from the pot filler. Cut of the main water to the house- called the plumber. He had to cut a hole in my newly renovated home to check all the plumbing. All the plumbing was perfect- not leaking. It was actually leaking from the potfiller (in-between the hardware that mounts to the wall & where the faucet met.) I loved the look of this pot filler and the price; however, I will not be replacing it with the same brand and I feel the need to warn other customers. I will contact the company tomorrow to see if I can return it.
