Glacier Bay has made slight changes to their replacement parts...
Glacier Bay has made slight changes to their replacement parts that no longer work properly with the faucets that were installed in our home 20 years ago. They should make note that it will only work for facets made after a specific date so the customer doesn’t waste their money and time on parts that no longer work,

Hello Sheryl. Many changes can take place over the years in the manufacturing process of faucets even when it is the same model. Especially if a unit is 20 years old. There are code changes that effect how or with what materials the faucet is made of, as well as new and improved innovations that we strive for with our products. We suggest you contact the Home Depot Call Center at 1-855-434-5224 and they would be happy to assist you further with your faucet. These parts did not work for converting the faucet cartridge...
These parts did not work for converting the faucet cartridge to fit the handles on my Glacier Bay faucet.

We wanted to let you know that these parts are not meant to be used to convert different handles on a different Glacier Bay model that the handles were not made for originally. These Inverters are specific to certain faucets and if you did not order the correct one for the faucet model that you have, it will not work properly or will not fit. We suggest you contact the Home Depot Customer Care Department and they would be glad to assist you in finding the correct parts for your faucet model. For it's need I would recommend this part. That being said, the faucet has a dumb design to have...
For it's need I would recommend this part. That being said, the faucet has a dumb design to have a piece of soft plastic for two different pieces of metal use in the transmission of energy...opening and closing the faucet handles.
