What is the LxW of the mounting surface?

AnswersL & W...? Not sure, but i think it could be the Black rectangle plate which lays flat on the fascia when installed. Maybe for those who need to make sure they have clearance for the install.

Very cool light, large glass globe gives you the availability to put a flood light bulb up to 60watts in if you desire. Light has a new mod look for and old style light. Light was very easy to install, one thing to review is the screw length from the light bracket and light cover to make sure you have the right length screws to hold the cover on. .

I Love the overall look of this light fixture and the clear glass cover is awesome. I really like that you can change the overall look by just changing the bulb and the cover gives plenty of room to put any shape or size of bulb you like. Installation was straight forward. I’ve had it up for around a week and haven’t had any issues with it. The fixture seems well made and high quality.

This is a very distinctive, yet relatively inexpensive exterior light. We installed it beside the back patio; with a 60 watt equivalent LED Edison style light bulb it illuminates the patio quite nicely without blinding anyone. The large rectangular base makes it a little tougher to figure out exactly where to mount the light. Fortunately for us, the siding is Hardy Planks, which can be cut to the exact width of the base & easily caulked making for a weather tight seal.
