Fashioned after vintage inspired lighting Globe Electric's Jackson 5-Light Chandelier adds a rustic industrial feel to any room. Hanging from a three-piece hanging bar you can customize this fixture to your desired look and lighting needs. Fully compatible with Dimmable LED bulbs and a dimmer switch (not included), the clear glass shades and exposed bulbs easily create lighting ambiance and different moods. The decorative sockets add the finishing touch making it ideal for use in kitchens, restaurants, bars, and dining rooms. Check out Globe Electric's vintage Edison light bulbs for designer antique bulbs to give that extra warm touch to your light fixture. Includes all mounting hardware for quick and Easy installation and requires five medium base 60-Watt max bulbs (sold separately).

AnswersNot sure you can, we ended up getting a different fixture because we couldn’t get it to hang straight. The horizontal rods holding the globes were loose and made them wobbly. I wouldn’t recommend this fixture and nice as it looks in the picture.
Is it possible to cut one down rod in half to shorten the hanging distance?

AnswersNo. The rods have female threads on each end, and connect to each other with a threaded male coupling. If you cut the rod in half you no longer have the ability to connect it to the next rod, the mounting bracket, or the bottom light assembly.

Not as pictured
I was excited when this showed up, but the product is not as pictured on the website OR on the box. It has a super cheap looking gold paint trim, which is totally unnecessary, and I reiterate isn’t shown in any of the photos or the packaging.

Good looking light fixture however the lamp sockets hang crooked...
Good looking light fixture however the lamp sockets hang crooked & there is no way to straighten them. Bulbs are not included . Very disappointed

loved it for the first 1.5 years
After just 1.5 years of having this installed one of the light sockets has a short and will go out for weeks and then come back on randomly (with new bulbs) and another flickers like a strobe light. I contacted the manufacturer and they informed me there is no warranty. We really loved it until this happened and now looks like we'll have to buy another light

It would be a beautiful chandelier if one of the sockets for the glass cover wasn't made crooked. 4 lamps hang down perfectly, and the 5th is wonky. We didn't know that until we had the whole thing hung up, of course. It's not the arm that's crooked, it's the socket. So, we recommend you screw in all the glass covers FIRST to make sure you don't have the same problem. Otherwise there's no way to know.
