Q:Will the sticky tape hold up in hot summer areas? We get a lot of 100? + days, a few to 114? and it would be in the sun. I realize there are also screws but want tape also.

Q:I live in a dutch colonial where the front has shingles that come down to the 5 inch gutters and intersect at a 90 degree angle. In fact the shingles often are into the gutters. How do install in this case.

Very happy with this!
The instructions show how to fit various situations. (See photo). The double stick butyl strip makes it handy to install. I installed three self drilling screws (included). The screen is tough! I used an oscillating saw and a hacksaw. I used diagonal cutters to cut the 1/4” notch required (see photo). Doing that on both ends of all 60 pieces added an hour to the task. It really should have come with that notch cut out! I have much more to say but this review is limited to 500 characters!

These gutter guards keep my husband off the ladder

Home Depot’s gutter guards were relatively easy to install, and the only difficult thing was making the final cut at the end of the pieces for shorter than the standard length. But even that wasn’t too bad. I would recommend doing it early in the morning, so that you don’t have to stay in the hot roof too long.

Very easy to use and solid
Previous used plastic and they failed to keep my neighbor's tree out of my gutters. Invested in these and they were super easy to install and much more solid and sturdy. Did not need to screw them in place and use the adhesive strip as a backup only.
Much more confident that these are going to last and work.

Excellent Product
I purchased the 39 ft. Kit for my long gutter that is underneath my huge apple blossom tree. My brother installed them in less than 30 minutes start to finish, without a ladder and with dull metal snips. He installed them from the roof. Swept out debris with a broom then cleaned the edge with alcohol first to ensure the adhesive would take. They felt secure with the stick strip but he went ahead and added two screws each just in case. The other edge slid right under the shingles like they were supposed to. Saved thousands of dollars by going this route. Highly recommend.

The Perfect Gutter Guards
I just had roof replaced 2 weeks ago. I decided to install new guards. These gutter guards are very well made. Installation is fairly easy. The morning after I installed the guards heavy rain poured down. I went on the back porch and watched the heavy rain flowing down the roof. The guards worked perfectly. There was no overflowing of the water. In my opinion these guards are #1 compared to other guards. I got them on sale which was a bonus. Don't hesitate to buy Gutter Guard by Gutterglove. Keeps out douglas fir needles
This product really works! I have moss and three large fir trees that drop needles on my roof year round and plug my gutters. I was concerned the tiny hook on the end of the needles would catch on the screen holes and plug the screen, but it's been 6 months and the gutters are clean and needle free. I also used acetone to clean the 30 year old top gutter edge, and the tape is still stuck great. No screws needed. Install is easy on straight sections withcorners a bit more challenging.

Glad I installed these
An easy way to clean my gutters is with a leave blower from the rooftop...unless they're remotely damp, then it's dangerous. My gutters fill up quickly and overflow or clog the downspouts. I've tried various methods to keep them clear. These Gutter Guards keep out needles, roof grit, and leaves. The only thing they requires it brushing off where debris collects too quickly, like the valleys. They're worthless with snow, but it doesn't snow here often. This is still the best alternative.
