Is the clear bottoms the same material as the black bottoms
The clear ones in my opinion are not as durable as the colored ones. They become brittle much more quckly.

If the tote is left outdoors and exposed to light rainfall, will the contents remain dry?
In my experience, yes, they will. However, after a year or two, especially if it exposed to sunlight, the lids can develop cracks which will allow water, etc. to breach into the totes which pretty much negates any waterproof qualities.
Are these waterproof?
