This is for a Wood Burning Stove. There is a product in the marketplace SKU RPS204B that is for Pellet Stoves.
you can use this item from the top or bottom as long as you have enough rod length to reach. You can also do half from each end
Though the rods will bend to almost 90 deg, I think you would have trouble with a 90 degree bend when you start twisting them with a drill. The bigger the entrance hole, the better luck you'll have. I have a fireplace so it was no trouble. I would say I had maybe a 45 degree bend and I had to hold the rod with my other hand with a glove to control direction as it went up the chimney. Sharp edges will cut up the fiberglass rods.
Yes I would think so, as long as it does not exceed the diameter of the brushes.
Ron, From the 24 ft length I assume you are referring to the SLK-24 SootEater. This model is designed to clean multiple flue sizes and shapes up to 9" diameter and will definitely clean square flue as along as the inside corner to corner dimensions of the flue are not larger then the Trim to Fit whip line. The Owner's Manual provides instruction on how to trim the whip line and how to use the tool to clean square flue. If the flue is larger then the 9" reach inside corner to inside corner we have the RCH-205 SootEater that will take care of all the larger sizes. Thank you for your interest in our products.
