Worked perfectly for my deck
Reworked my deck and I chose these post caps for protection of the 4 x 4 post and they add a nice finished look. Bought 11 and I found no defects with any. Fit is good. If these don’t last I’ll update the review but as of now I am satisfied

Five of Six survived
I really like the shape of these caps for my deck since you can place a drink on top. My only complaint is that one of the tops already split within a couple weeks of being outside on the post.

Unfortunately I cannot reccomended this product as within 1 month of installation all but one have grown excessive amounts of mold on the surface and look awful. While none of the decking or railings, installed at the same time, show any signs of mold. This is very disappointing especially for such a small product that costs $10.00 each and is supposedly designed to be used outdoors.

Disposable
If you live in the Northeast you may get 2 years out of these. Not sure about other areas but all mine split right down the middle. The ones that were on when I bought the house were also split.

Mind you I’m not using this outside, but have been searching for something to put on top of the four post bed that I’m building, until I came across this. The were the oerfect solution, no to big, they did not take anything from the bed, instead they added a small elegant touch. I am so happy with this I can wait to finish my project now!
