A: This is difficult to answer because we do not kn ow the circumstances of when this appeared. It is possible there could have been a slight issue that began during shipping. But the cause is unknown at this ti me.
A: I've been searching to no avail. Mine does more than flicker, it's full on strobe!
A: Nope. Mine lasted less then a year before it died out.
A: No. I had 2 of these go out on me and I tore the first failure apart to see if I could replace the LED unit but it's a closed unit. It's even indicated in the specs as non-replaceable.
A: No, the LED lamp (or bulb) is one time use.
A: I also have this lamp. Lasted about 2 yrs, then started to flicker, took 2 times after that, and then is was useless. The bulb isn't replaceable. Nice little lamp that does the job for me.
A: Say goodbye to your lamp. It is about to die.
A: The bulb is not replaceable.
A: Nope - it says that on the package "no bulb to replace". Guess you just replace the entire lamp??? I don't use that often, so I hope it will last a LONG time!!
A: Possibly... if plugged into an outlet tied to an appropriate dimmer switch. I've read that some LED lamps will flicker or buzz if tied into a dimmer, but without testing, I don't know. Worth a try though, it's a great little lamp. Worst case scenario, you test it and return it if no luck. Home Depot is great about returns.
A: I doubt it. This is a simple on and off switch on an LED lamp. This is not a standard LED bulb.
A: I haven't tried it with a dimmer, but it should work with a LED dimmer. It won't work with a regular light dimmer though.
A: It says in the specifications that it is 200 lumens
A: It's in the specs as 200. I agree with that number as I have 2 of these units. 60 would be about as effective as a night light and these were not that low for sure.
A: Thank you for your comment
A: I have it on my desk and usually use at night. However, it is quite bright during day also (for my little desk). For the price - I didn't keep any of the information on the box, etc.
