A disposable cover, good only for one season.
I was happy at first with this cover. It fit my firepit perfectly, a nice color, clips to secure it to firepit legs.
After only one summer this cover lost flexibility. The material became so rigid and brittle that it would crack from bending it. My guess is that the material has degraded from the sun exposure. I am in NJ, my backyard is in the shade after 2pm, so the exposure to sun was limited. Look at the pic - this cover became so rigid that it stands upright while leaning on the trash can.

WRONG specifications
Does not fit a SoJoe firepit which is about 30" diameter. Sides of cover only go about 3/4 way down. Pit is only about 24" from top of screen to the patio Box says fits pits up to 44". NOT!

Great Fit...Wrong Specs
I bought this cover reluctantly do to the circumstance that I wanted something now and didn't want to wait for one to be shipped and it appeared to look nice even though it is way too big (the internet says it is 55" and the box in the store says 44"). I have a 30" firepit and it fits perfect. This cover isn't for a 55" or 44" diameter. Please update your specs. They are completely misleading. Find someone who can read a ruler, have them measure, redo your packaging, update the html online.
