You might have to check the battery contacts I Have one that stays on all day
Jim, try engaging the switch either in a dark setting inside or wait until after dusk and engage the switch underneath the base of the light. These lights are great!
You may well have a charging issue rather than a battery issue. I live in Washington state and when I started using these lights this summer they seemed to work fine, but now that we are down to less than 10 hours of daylight and a lower sun angle, the solar panels charge the batteries only enough to power the lights for two to three hours after sunset.
yes, you need to replace the batteries every three months
Yes!!!
Light frost, not bad, freezing temperatures, not good. Not so much the light but it's battery that should not be allowed to freeze.
As with anything with a battery, it should be kept from freezing. Bring it inside.
They were on clearance at my Home Depot.
Many times items may not make the sales expectations or are a seasonal only item. You may want to check the manufacturers site for any additional information. And yes, these are exceptionally good lights.
The majority of them do very well on cloudy rainy days to charge or stay charged, unfortunatelt i have a couple that dont react the same.
