About This Product

Each of these 8 Hampton Bay Low Voltage 10-Watt Equivalent Path Lights with Crackle Glass shines brightly and is long lasting. The light quality is similar to halogen, but uses over 80% less energy. It has a rated life of 50,000-hour and is virtually maintenance free, with no bulbs to change. The aluminum construction, powder coat finish and weatherproof electronics ensure years of trouble-free use. The finish is hand painted for a timeless Oil Rubbed Bronze patina. There is a quick-install wire connector with a cleated heavy-duty stake, making it quick, easy and safe to install. Light is directed out and toward the ground through unique crackle glass for a softly diffused light to illuminate steps, pathways and smaller plants. It's also a good security feature.

A:  Its up to you. I find that most people place too many too close for my taste. I placed mine 12' apart because that's what worked for my landscaping. I've seen others that prefer to have their lights crowded (in my opinion).

Brighter than expected but work great
We switched out some old low voltage lights for these and they are significantly brighter. It is nice not having to deal with bulbs. Had these a few months and they are holding up well. Will be buying more for our front yard path.

Took out my old fixtures which were probably 20 years old and a hassle to change the bulbs. Used the existing wires linking the old fixtures together and put in 15 of these around the driveway and walkways. Had a little bit of a problem with two of them making the connections with the old wiring so I cut off all the connectors which came with the new lamps and wired the connections together using small Dryconn waterproof connectors. I figured if I was going to switch to LEDs, I wanted to make it as maintenance-free as possible. It added a little bit to the cost of the project but we've had some rain and everything is working just fine. I'm a retired woman with no electrical training and the project took 3 days to complete.

This outdoor light is one of the nicest light I have seed in a long time. It is very well made. Very easy to assemble. Very easy to insert into the ground and connect to you low voltage lighting system. The instructions are very easy to follow. This light stand about two feet tall once inserted into the ground. The warm LED light and the beaded glass are a nice touch. The antique bronze painted all metal construction is very sturdy and should hold up to the out door abuse for a long time. Over all a nice design. A nice size. And a very nice outdoor fixture.

This outdoor led pathway lantern is really pretty in person. The crackle glass is beautiful and I really like the oil rubbed bronze finish. I wanted to add a light in a dark spot and this is the perfect solution. It looks attractive and steps it up a bit. Installation and instructions are very easy. The light is bright enough but not glaring; just what you want along a pathway or in your flowerbeds or gardens at night. (It is the end of winter so please excuse the garden in my pictures!) It is very easy to connect to an already existing line or to set up as your first one with the proper power source. It is sturdy and well supported and looks durable enough to hold up in bad weather and winds etc. A very nice light with real glass, not plastic at a good price and the led light cost is minimal. I definitely recommend it!
